pap smear and pregnant

I got a paps yesterday, and the Dr told me I would bleed a little. But I'm still worried because I'm still bleeding. This is my first pregnancy and I've been reading that some women miscarried. Is this true? Should I worry? How many of you have experience bleeding after a pap smear? And how long did it last?.....

A pap smear would never cause a miscarriage. Miscarriages happen because there is something wrong with the baby. Don't stress yourself out

I was perfectly fine before the pap I had no type of bleeding, I probably had light pink when I wiped, but nothing like this. That's why I'm kinda worried, this is my first pregnancy and I'm excited to be a mom. I also feel mild cramping, but it goes away then it comes back.

I freaked out too after my pap smear. The lady told me i had a sensitive cervix which makes you more prone to bleeding during a pap smear but personally i think it was because she was too rough. (she was a student still learning). Anyways there was blood on my legs right after the exam and it scared me. But they said its normal and it should clear in a couple of days. Sure enough after two days i stopped spotting. So i know its hard but try not to worry about it :)

I didn't bleed, however i did have the worse pain after having one. I hope the bleeding stops.

I bleed after my pap smear. My midwife told me I could bleed for 1 to 2 days after. I would say if it doesn't stop by tomorrow I would call ur doctor and ask. As far as I know u can't have a miscarriage after having a pap smear done.
