question about timing

my husband and i just recently decided to try for a baby. we are together for 9 1/2 yrs and married for 3 1/2  yrs. both in our 28th yr. we are both ready and are excited to start a family together. i got my last period on april 14th and we had unproted sex on the 26th (12 days after 1st day of last period). what would the chances be that i will concieve?? thanks for any answers i am looking forward to it very much  :)

i mentioned earlier that i had the stretchy CM on friday may1st. then i had nothing on saturday, then today may 3rd, i had the clear non-stretchy CM again. i also had cramping on my left side, and sometimes in the center lower abdomen. i also had a achy lower back all day yesterday and today. i dont know what is going on. so i guess i will just wait and see whats up. let me know what you ladies think. thanks.

so we had unprotected sex on late late sun night, so it was actually mon the 27th, and the cervical mucus showed up on fri may 1st. im nervous now that maybe we tried too soon in my cycle... what do u guys think. im new too this so im sorry if i sound silly...:)..LOL

That would depend on how long your cycles are and how long your luteal phase is. Right now you are shooting in the dark and can be right on; or way off. The only way to know is to chart your temps. (and take a HPT when AF doesn't show;) ) It will rise right after O and then you will know if you timed it right. try fertilityfriend.com it is full of all kinds of information and teaches you how to chart and interpret it. You can also use OPK to try to predict O because LH is the last hormone to rise before O.

I have 28 day cycles and have been doing the 11 thru the 14 at latest and found out when I started temping that I don't O until day 16! Missing the two most important days!

According to an ovulation calculator on the internet you had sex on one of your most fertile days (April 24 to May 2, 2009) so you have a chance! I'd do it again tonight just incase!! :] Good luck!
