What week did you find out the baby's gender?

How early did you find out the sex of your baby? My next ultrasound is at 14 weeks and I'm DYING to know.

I found out at 17 wks this time but with other three it was around 20 wks

I found out initially at 17w3days(ish), and it was confirmed around 21 weeks.

I found out around 20 weeks with my first 2.  This time I had a ultrasound at 19 weeks and we could have found out but we want to be surprised this time :).  14 weeks seems kinda early.  I've always been told the best time to tell is starting at 16 weeks and up.

I found out with my boy at 18 weeks and my girl they couldnt say til she was 27 weeks.
But a good mate of mine found out at 14 weeks, she is having a boy!

ive heard that sometimes a girl can be mistaken for a boy because the umbilical cord gets in the way and can be mistaken for a winkle. i know some women on here are good at telling just by looking at the ultrasound pic though :)

Ya I know a lot of it has to do with the equipment. My Dr. said they can range from thousands to millions. I'm pretty sure the town I live in does not have the best lol!

16 weeks, but... Two of my girlfriends recently found out at 12 and 13 weeks. Ultrasounds must be getting better.

I got an ultrasound at 14 weeks and they told me they were 80% sure it was a boy. Got another ultrasound at 18 weeks and there was no mistaking it.... it was girl. Haha.

Awesome! Ya I won't go shopping crazy until I'm closer to 20 weeks but man that fetal photos is suuuuper tempting! I can't believe how consumed by this I am!! I can't imagine waiting 10 more weeks!

I found out at 19 weeks, but they always say 'it looks like' followed by its never 100%. Finding out made my pregnancy feel more real :) good luck

I found out with my daughter at 20wks and with my son they were doing a measurement scan at right about 15wks and we found out - it was too obvious not to know. My son is now 9 months old and my daughter is 2 1/2 years so it was right both times.

However I caution that very frequently ultrasounds done before 16wks can be wrong...so make sure you don't buy things until you get another ultrasound to confirm at about 18-20wks...or at least that's what i'd do, if it were me :-). That IS what I did, lol.
