I was also going to recommend a "dry" cleaner. I know we have a person in my town that uses an "argonaut" machine, and that is who I have had clean my carpets. I have a Bissel little green machine for spot cleaning! Good luck
My hubby installs flooring for Lowe's and his own business, and I just asked him what he thought. He said Capture is the best cleaner you can use for carpet. If you use a wet cleaner, your stains will temporarily be lifted, but you will find in a couple weeks, they will reappear. So if you just want your carpet clean for a weekend, you could do this, but they will return and also may wrinkle your carpet over time. Dry cleaning is the preferable solution to cleaning your carpet. If you wanted to go that route, it would best to get it done every 6 months or so. Hope that helps you out a bit!
