OUCH!!

I am 24weeks 3days. My belly button really hurts and the area around it. It hurts to lie down, sit and walk. I am pregnant with my third and I don't remember having this issue with the other two. Has any of you ladies had this issue? What made you feel better?

Has your belly button popped? Or is it painful underneath the area of your belly button?

My sister had pain when her belly button popped and wore a bandaid over it to keep it from rubbing on her clothes and being uncomfortable.

I had a painful belly button area with my third pregnancy and it turned out to be a pregnancy hernia. You can tell when its a hernia if there seems to be an extra bump under your bellybutton that is painful to touch. If it is a hernia you should be able to lay down flat on a bed and push gently to pop it back in. If doing that eases your pain it's most likely a hernia and should be discussed with your doctor. Usually its nothing to worry about I had to do some specialized ab exercises to help my ab muscles go back together after the baby was born.
