my panic episodes started when I got shot in the back and I had to do an exploratory and fix me a kidney can not stand the strong pains so I thought that using the method will help me but sinse in my first labor i didnt suffur them :(
I don't think the epidural has something to do with the panic atacks. My brother ans my sister suffer from those now thay are getting to the point where they are able to control it by getting themselves busy and their minds off stress and other things that triggers their panic attacks. My brother use some medication tge first year that he suffer from that but aftrr that he opt not to use them. To help you with the panic attacks you can use the stress balls, my mom used to tell my brother that everything was ok then to eased his mind she would then even though this sounds silly she would make him try to write on a paper or either play tic tac toe. My brother is 22 right now and my sister is 30 and they still deal with it sometimes but they have less episodes of the panic attacks now.
I'm actually detoxing off my anxiety meds and oh boy is it hell. So I feel were your coming from. I was 99 lbs I dropped to 95 I have no appetite what so ever. So prayers to you and your little one.
This isn't really relevant to your post but my name is also Karla and I'm 19 (20 in dec!)
Dont think epidural is related to panic attacks. It takes the edge of labor pains so u should feel relaxed not anxious. But if your worried itll do something to make anxiety worse then discuss w ur doctor
Talk to your doc about it but epidural is usually used for pain don't think it control panic attack episodes...that's up to you
but shoud i use epidural?? with my first baby i used but in that time i didnt have the panics atacks
I have never been told I have panic attacks but since I got pregnant for the second time I've had multiple episodes where I feel my heart race for no reason and feel a lil out of breath?
