On Clomid & Confused

I'm on my first round of Clomid (days 5-9 50mg). I took the pills 2/11-2/16. My doctor recommended using at-home ovulation tests, which I started taking on 2/17. I tested each day up until 2/26 and it did not show any positives. My question is: My husband and I had sex while I was still taking Clomid and 4 other times during the cycle. For the last two weeks, I've been wanting to go to bed between 6-8pm and have done so numerous times and slept 12 hours straight (still feeling tired when I wake up and throughout the day). I've also had this weird kind of nausea where I feel ok generally, but when I think of actually swallowing food, I feel like gagging. However, I'm ok with eating snack-type foods or small things. It seems to be mostly meats, heavy foods, etc. that I can't stomach. I've also had some cramping and stomach area pain. My breasts are not sore, and I didn't have any spotting. Do you think it's possible that I could have gotten pregnant early on and that's why my ovulation tests were negative? Or is it possible for the ovulation test to give a false negative? I did have to take Provera to get my period prior to using the Clomid. Anyway, I was just wondering when I should take a pregnancy test if I don't normally get my period without provera.

Thank you so much for your advice...maybe I should go take another test now! haha My doctor never told me when to start taking the tests, so that's good to know. Congrats on your baby!

ok when you are taking clomid you should not use the home O test til 3 days after the last pill or you will almost always get a false pos. and you  will think you've O'd and really haven't thus making you miss the acutal O day.  This doesn't always happen but it does alot of times.  But I think you should still keep testing b/c clomid can sometime throw  you normal cycle off I didn't O til CD 27 some times on clomid.  So keep trying.  But it it always possible you O'd while on clomid but it's very rare.  And clomid can give you the same symptoms as when you're pregnant so just hang in there.
