??Closing a cervix??

I am 21, 29weeks + 3 days pregnant and my cervix is alrdy open and im already dilated 1.5 cm. Physicians say its hereditary. However Im not having any contractions but im still nervous  that I can have an early baby for the my first ;-( is there any tricks anybody know that I can do??

Yes my physician said absolutely NO sex at all!!

No. I didnt feel anything and still don't I was completely lost about what a short service was lol I just knew it was serious when she took me out of work. But if you ask me if i notice anything wired i would say when i would pee it felt like i didnt have to push it would just come out like i didnt have any control over it idk its kinda hard to explain.

Try to avoid sex as well.

I went to a high risk clinic so i could get beautiful photos of my baby since around here most doc are now putting the ultrasound photos on UBS drives instead of printing them out which ***** for a first time mom you want to see your baby immediately on the original photo paper so you can put in books and stuff....make a long story short when I went to the clinic after they did the ultrasound they did a vaginal ultrasound to measure my cervix  and that's how I found out....mayb u can ask your doc to check u at ur next appointment.

How do you know when your cervix is open? Do you feel it? Sorry I dont know these things

I had a cerclage put in at 20 weeks. I only had half a cm left of my cervix before my baby girl was going to come. I got the stitches taken out at 36 weeks.

I had a cerclage performed a week ago because I was dilated to 3 and my bag was about to break. I ago 23 weeks and now on bed rest for the entire rest of my pregnancy. Doctor knows the cerclage will hold but is afraid of my water breaking. Surgery is a good thing that could save your babies life or allow baby to stay inside momma longer. Good luck. My baby is due Dec 2.

How did they find out what made them check you im 25 weeks and my cervix feels very open to me but ive never been checked this pregnancy

Try to stay in bed and don't lift anything past 15 pounds, im 20 weeks and my cervix is open up to the point where my cervical cercloge stitches are so thats the only thing holding my baby girl in and lots of bed rest. Walking or sitting makes the cervix open more, u could either stand or lay down it will help.

Sometimes u stay open for weeks I was 1cm for 3 weeks now it's nothin major just keep calm.
