swollen feet

My feet are extra swollen and I m 37 weeks and 3 days. My aunt told me that she noticed her feet extra swollen right before going into labor and that the fact that my feet are extra swollen could mean that I am going into labor soon... is this true that I could be going in to labor soon?. Does it have anything to do with it?

just prop them up and rub them with lotion or get your man to do it for you (; or if your feet hurt you freeze a bottle of water sit in a chair and roll the bottle back n forth with your foot .

I've never heard of swelling being associated with labour, but instead with preclampsia, hypertension, heat, too much salt intake, and dehydration...

You should ask your doctor. Is anything else swollen or puffy like your hands or face? I'd the swelling more on one side? Swelling is normal during pregnancy but it could also be signs of something else like preeclampsia or a blood clot. It's probably nothing but it's always best to ask your doctor so they can assess what is going on.

I asked my doctor the same thing. She said that is how the womans body prepares itself for labor and the more they swell the closer you are to going into labor
