Feeling Baby

Yesterday and today I've really felt Zoe move!!! In fact I feel her right now and just had to share! I tried to get my oldest to feel her but of course Zoe stopped. I'm 22 weeks- I've felt flutters for weeks but this if the first time I've felt her bump my hand!

When did you start feeling your little one REALLY move?

I felt my first confirmed flutters from 16 weeks but I wasn't certain but at 17 weeks I could tell the difference between my baby's flutters and gas in my tummy...LOL By 19 weeks it was real movements and then at 20 week DH could feel baby move.  At 24 weeks we could see the kicks from the outside of my tummy.  It is so amazing.

Well........... Daddy finally felt Zoe kick today! He's home sick and I went to sit on the couch next to him. Sure enough she kicked his hand! He was really excited and had a big grin.

This thread reminded me of a commercial that was out last year, when my daughter was expecting.  Don't know if you remember it, but a lady is sitting on a park bench and a soccer ball is kicked her way, so she slowly bends over and picks up the ball and as soon as she is standing with the ball, it kicks back out of the screen (the baby kicked it, of course).  That commercial always cracked me up.

Glad to hear that everyone is enjoying their little one's movements.  It is so special.

Cindie- I've felt them early on, off and on, too! When baby was so low that she was still below all the fatty tissues in the upper stomach. And now that I'm typing about her I feel her kicking me again. Ha ha!

this is my first pregnancy, i started feeling the flutters at around 14 weeks and my b-f first felt the kicking at about 16 weeks, maybe even earlier!! now our little one lies sideways kicking the left side and tickling the right side with its fingers, quite funny really and a bit annoying at 3 am!!!

with my last couple of pregnancies i could feel flutters starting at 10-12 weeks...then movements got progressively strong until around 20 weeks where it was constant.   I'm so excited for you and jealous LOL now I really want another baby. Am I insane or what?  5 kids? I've completely lost it!!!!

Joy~ I've actually felt TINY flutters since 11w... and today while using my doppler (I have to push down rather hard).
baby kicked the doppler and not only did I hear it but I felt it a little. Just a TINY thump. lol... baby kept kicking the doppler or hitting it with his/her hands also...But I only felt the tiny thump 2x when baby was dead on.... By the way my U/S is tomorrow and I'll be around 12 1/2-13w eeks depending on how baby measures.

That's awesome Joy! The first time someone else could feel bumps from the outside I was 21 or 22 weeks. Now at 27 weeks if you stand close enough to my belly you might get kicked ;-)

Awww! Isn't is great?? I have REALLY been feeling this baby move in the last 2 weeks. And finally felt huccups for the first time on Thurs!! I was so excited. I feel them about 2 times a day now. And hubby was able to feel the baby kick just a few days ago. Everytime he watches my belly or puts his hand there, the baby stops moving. lol. So I was happy he felt something. My belly does waves now and I can see my belly poke out in certain spots where the baby kicks even when I am standing. I will be 25 weeks on Wed.
