Pain Meds?
Is there any other pain meds beside the epidural that you can get while in labor?.
Oh yeah.. I needed sleep so its a good alternative if you end up having your baby at 2 in the morning like I did...
Its called demeral and stadol.. They give it to you in your iv.. It don't stop the pain.. It just takes the edge off.. It wears off fast.. I had it and it last an 1hr but I was hoping it wouldn't last too long since I wanted to go as natural as possible... This time around I'm not getting it unless I need to.. Ask your doc and see which one your insurance will pay for.. I had stadol which is the generic brand and that's probably why it didn't last. I didn't want baby to be loopy or sleepy and she wasnt ..
Hmm I wanna do a natural birth but if I need any pain meds i dont want to get the epidural.
