Can your babies head pushing down on your cervix cause dilation? I ask cause sometimes it is painful. I'm 33 weeks an in danger of pre term labor as I am already 4cm dilated

I was thinking all day today maybe I should phone the doctor... the pressure is insane.
Yes. It's supposed to, but not so great if it's that early. My baby wasn't positioned right so I needed artificial help dilating during labor.
