Yesterday I had my first u/s 5wk 6d. I know it may be early but it was for a piece of mind of where the location of the baby was and if it was in the right spot.Afraid of another ectopic. The dr did abdomial and trans vag ,The dr was having a hard time trying to find the fetal pole, they think they saw a few times but when they went to get the picture it was hard to find again but they did see what they thought was a sac. I know from experience this doc wa being very gental because she didnt want to make me uncomfortable and I think that was the problem because in the past some dr are determined to find that sac. The good thing is I get to go back for another one next week. I am not worry I know the baby is there I am just thinking that its to early and the dr was being to easy to try to look for it.

Has any one else had this? Is still a little early

Thank you ladies. Thats what I figured,its amazing what a few days can make but thats just like on the HPT one day BFN and than the next is BFP. Everything is always waiting I thought the 2 waiting was bad, this is horrible but I just pray and put in gods hands that everything is ok. The last thing I need to do is stress. But thank you for everything I am going to keep that positive attitude. "Good things will comes to those who wait"

That is so aggrevating isnt it! lol You go and theres nothing but a bubble then go back a couple days later and theres a little person with a beating heart.

At 5w6d all we saw was a sac and at 6w1d we saw the heartbeat. Even a couple days can make a huge difference!

At 5 wks all your really going to see is the sac. And your dates could be off. Youd be suprised at the difference a week can make. I have had 2 miscarriages and 3 live births and am currently preg w/ my 4th. Each time i have found out that im pregnant its always been at like 3 wks so i put myself through the agony of waitng those 3 more weeks and it turns out fine. Im sure your just early and theres a little baby hiding in there. Keep us posted about what happens when you go back.

At my 5w5d they could only see the sac, but at 6w1d they saw the fetal pole. It probably is just a few days too early. Good luck at your next scan.
