help! if u have sex say like... a few days before ur period........

if u have sex a few days before ur period is supposed to start will you still get that period or bleed a little?

Oh, I see. I totally misunderstood :-) Congratulations on your pregnancy!

As for your question, I would say that it could have been either date. Your hormones could easily have been a bit out of balance since you had just stopped taking the pill, so you might not have ovulated "on schedule" that month. I think you could have gotten pregnant on either one of those two days. Maybe you could ask your doctor to try and determine your conception date. Good luck!

Well for right now your doc is prob. going off your last period. and when you have your 1st u/s they will tell you for sure!

i am pregnant. im just tryin to figure out when it was that i got pregnant. i was on the pill in june. and that was my last period, june 20th. i went off it in july. about 3 weeks after my period started i had unprotected sex. about a week n a half after that i had sex again. im trying to figure out which time it was that got me pregnant.ive heard all that about the ovulation n stuff but did it mess things up cuz i jus came off the pill?

It all depends on when you ovulated. After ovulation, the egg only has up to 24 hours to be fertilized. If you have a regular cycle, and you had intercourse a few days before your period is due, then you most probably wouldn't get pregnant, and you should get your period on time.

The only thing that could change this is if you ovulated late this cycle. Are you trying to get pregnant? Or worried about getting pregnant?
