getting worried...

Okay, this is my second pregnancy and I developed sciatica during my first. It's continued since then, so I know this pain is different. I've been having the worst back pain I've ever felt from the middle of my back to right above my tailbone since Tuesday and its gotten progressively worse. It extends across my entire back and it's so bad, I can't sleep, sit down or walk comfortably. I'm a stay at home mom and I have a 10 month old son. I can barely stand to pick him up and he only weighs 16lbs! I'm 19 weeks today. I went for a regular prenatal visit Thursday and when I told my doctor, he pretty much ignored it, saying it was normal, but this is NOT normal.

Any suggestions or words to help ease my worry? I've had 9 miscarriages and 1 healthy pregnancy so I'm scared to death. I don't want to lose my baby girl. Has anyone's else experienced this and had a normal pregnancy??

Thank you for answering. My main problem with getting to the er is that my husband is at work untold 11pm and we only have 1 car. I'm planning on going when he gets home though.

I was in an abusive relationship before I got with my husband and I lost 6 due to my ex's physical abuse, but the doctors don't know why I had the other 3. My last miscarriage was a missed mc at 16 weeks and I had to have a d&c. 3 years later, I got pregnant for my son (first preg with husband) and everything went fine but with not knowing the cause of my other 3, I'm still worried.
