A question about showing..

I'm 14 weeks.. when should i expect to show? And on top of that, is it true that it's common for taller women to not show as big? Because i'm only about 5'3 and i believe that i have a rather small/short body from waist up. Do you think this means my stomach will probably be real big or does it even matter? A girl I know is the same height as me and her belly was quite big, and another girl, she's 5 months now, probably 6 by now and she's pretty tall and she just started getting bigger, and you can tell now, but she's not huge. although i know it's kind of early for her..
Just curious, what were your experiences?

It all depends on your body.   I am 13 weeks with my 3rd baby and I'm already starting to show.  I am a bigger woman and you notice it just under my breasts, my stomach is more rounded on top.  Everyone's body is different and shows at different times.  Good Luck with you pregnancy

My pouch started developing at around 7 weeks. I'm about the same build as you and now at 10 weeks it's definitely noticeable to my family and I. You should start to show soon....how much weight have you gained? I've gained 4.5 lbs.

Every woman is different. So are their uteruses. So are their babies and the babies growth. You may be huge, you may stay small, or you might just be in-between (like I was).

It really doesn't matter. Just focus on having a healthy baby!

I'm 5'3 and was 98 lbs before I got pregnant. I started showing at about 25 weeks... somewhere around there. I'm 36 weeks right now and I am not big at all. I met a girl the other day who was as big as I am but due 2 months after me. I was concerned so I measured my tummy but I am 36cm so I am measuring where I am supposed to. It honestly all just depends on genes, what you are eating, where the baby is positioned and whether or not you are exercising that determine how soon and how you show.

Oh, that's interesting.. I'm not showing at all yet. just the tiniest of a bump, can't be seen only felt, and yet my pants won't even button! i think it's so odd.

I don't think it matters...when I first found out I was pregnant, everyone's like oh you're so tiny you're not gonna show till 7 months..I'm 5'2 and look like I'm about 5 1/2 months already, I'm only 3. I started showing real fast.My mom is like 4 '11 and was huuuge when she was pregnant with me, I was an 8lb baby. I'm always asking my co-workers that have been there and done that and are way more experienced than me.  One of them told me she literally didn't show till about 7 months...another was around 3 and a half...
