Placental Insufficiency 16 weeks

I am 25 yrs old pregnant with my 3rd baby but first boy! What do these numbers mean along with what concerns these bring? My genetics specialist called and told me i have Placenta insufficiency and these are all the numbers that the tests revealed:

Downs Syndrome:
     screening result: 1:2,000
     age related: 1:740
     risk cut off:   1:50
Trisomy18:
      screening risk: 1:1,200
      age relate:       1:2,600
      risk  1:100
PAPP-A: 0.18 MOM
HCG : 0.59
Fetal Nuchal Measurement: 0.62 MoM

So there you go. I don't know what those mean except that they said the PAPP-A isn't good, but what does "isn't good" mean? I am also experiencing VERY SHARP pains in my pelvis and up inside, sometimes the pain shoots up from my tail bone as well. Is this normal? Am I going to miscarry, is the baby okay with my PAPP-A So low? I can't meet with my Dr. until he gets back in town which is Jan. 25th. Any help would be great.
Thanks to all your help
Rebbecca :)

Thank you so much for your comfort. I agree it is very lame. Thank you for the info though it is helpful to get anything I can. I will keep you posted on what I find out. I have been having contractions and had to go into the ER yesterday but luckily they aren't strong enough to do anything. My Dr. gets in town on Thursday and I'll see him then.

Thanks again
Happy New Year!

Honestly hun, I have no clue what any of that means. I am sorry that they have concerned you though, and they should have done a better job of explaining things to you. If I were you I would either call the genetics specialist and tell them that you need clearer answers, or contact the Dr that is on call for your Dr while he is on vacation (there must be someone on call in case of deliveries or emergencies while he is gone). Its just plain not fair for them to give you just enough information to make you worry and then make you wait...
Also, you may want to contact martikadragon (a member on this site) she has a son with down syndrome I think... she may better understand some of this medical jargon and be able to help you out.
In the mean time (((HUGS))) and keep us posted on what you find out.

I found this online..i dont really know much so i googled it and i thought this might help you to understand what the PAPP-A is and y its low!!

PAPP-A:  Pregnancy Associated Plasma Protein A (PAPP-A), also produced by the placental trophoblasts, is significantly reduced for Down syndrome and trisomy 18/13 fetuses.  The median MoMs are 0.44 and 0.32, respectively, which raises detection while decreasing screen positives.

Good luck and keep us posted doll!!
