Playing with baby

I'm 22 weeks, is it too early for my baby to feel me? My mom told me that when she was pregnant, when baby would kick, she would poke her stomach and baby would kick back in response. Is it to early for that? What did you ladies do to play with your little one?

My hubby plays 'tag' with our little one. He'll tap an area where the baby isn't and the baby will move over and kick that area and then he'll tap somewhere else and so on and so on.

I hate scrooges.. anyway, I tried that, sometimes she will respond. I talk to her all of my troubles and positive things. I'm doing all I can as I do believe this will be my only baby, I don't think I could handle more than one! Haha. Enjoy your baby, they can sense you and hear you.

I believe anytime you start to feel your baby, is a perfect time to start playing and talking to them. I've felt my babygirl since 15 wks and I talk to her all the time.. she moves and responds really well. If I poke her she moves back and it feels like were playing. I didnt have that experience with my first son.. I wish I did.

Thank you ladies, that's what I wanted to hear! Haha sometimes I'll put my hand on my stomach and she'll kick but I never know if it's just a coincidence or not. But, I'm still really early so I'll just have to be patient I guess :)

My husband and I started playing with baby around 18 weeks and he definitely reacts to us! Now at 37 weeks, baby boy pokes back at us and gets really wiggly when we talk to him and laugh. He's really funny when my husband raspberries my belly! You'll have to try that when you get further along! :-)

I do that now. I will feel baby move or kick. I lay my hand on my tummy and rub and baby will kick back. Not often but its fun to try. I suggest do what feels right to you. She may not feel you right now but the bond still grows stronger for you and her :)

Well I've heard from multiple women that when your far enough along, when you poke your belly your baby might move to that spot or kick in response :)

It's a way to connect even more with baby before she's born but I don't know if she can't feel me or if she just doesn't want to be bothered lol

I talk to her sometimes. I don't understand how you can play with them.though. lol I can't figure out what's what. I get a butt in the rib and that's about it

I never "played" with my daughter. And I don't plan to with this one. Lol I don't wanna bother my baby. Not necessary to me.
