Sorry to be blunt, but.....crotch pain?? 32wks

So I'm about 32wks now, and I know that my boy's a big baby, but he's not HUGE...a little bigger than my daughter was at this same point, and she was born 7lbs6oz @ 40wks. But my problem is...for the past 2-3wks, I've been feeling literally like I went horseback riding and someone switched the saddle for a bar of iron or a cement block. My crotch is so SORE, and the ligaments on the insides of my thighs feel like I did squat-thrusts for a few hours. I don't remember this AT ALL with Kahlan (my daughter) and I'm desperate for some relief. Sometimes when I go to get up and start using the muscles and ligaments, the pain is so sharp and intense I have to stop and readjust before I can even move. It's ridiculous! I am carrying him a LOT lower than I was carrying my daughter, and he's pretty well dropped...so he may just be pushing on some nerves and I may just be swollen but OMG did anyone else have this and have any tips how to deal with it? It literally feels like I'm a guy who got kicked in the balls...sorry, LOL, but that's how it's been feeling.

I'm just hoping somebody...ANYbody...can give me a tip on how to ease this discomfort because I feel a little ridiculous getting ready to stand up and grabbing at my crotch all of a sudden LOL. Everyone always thinks my water's breaking or something and I'm like "no, it's all good...just sore crotch...". Anyway if anyone has any tips please let me know...I'm pretty sure it's nothing serious all of my tests are coming back perfect and the baby's movements are perfect and I haven't had any bad contractions since that time about a week ago so I think it's just one of those annoying side effects. I do have an OB appointment on tuesday and I plan to ask...but until then...tips are desperately appreciated!!!

I have had this for over a month and the only thing that helps me is that my couch has a recliner in it and so when I sit down I lean back and that takes pressure off the area some. I hurt more when I am up more. I know you have a little one and that of course is not helping and nothing you can do about it either. Taking a bath takes the pressure off to depending on how full you can get the tub. Sitting on my birthing ball helps too sometimes but does make him go lower so it can hurt more getting up further in. Hope this helps some and I feel for ya

Also, you can take tylenol while pregnant, that might help a bit

You know, unfortunately I don't know what can be done to help the pain. I had it myself it felt as though someone punched me in the girl parts.  use your arms to help get yourself up instead of your thighs/legs....

I am 37 weeks and having been having crotch pain for about 3 or 4 weeks.  Like you said it feels like I went horseback riding or did some really awful squats.  You can sit on a warm towel for a little while to relieve the soreness. It did work for me.  I took my heating pad and turned it on medium and wrapped it in a towel and sat on it for about 15 mins at a time.  It did help for a while, but after getting up and down and moving around the soreness came right back.  I am still working too, so I am sure that doesn't help.  I don't really remember alot of this with my daughter either, so I am not sure what causes it.  Baby boy is sitting alot lower than DD did so maybe that has something to do with it.  IDK....but anyway good luck and I hope you feel better soon.
