Post Partum Depression.

I'm 5 weeks post partum. I know I'm having some post depression. Alot actually.  I feel like it's never gonna go away. I feel disconnected from my husband. I'm so tired. My husband is military so I'm 12 hours away from family. He's getting deployed in 4 weeks and I feel like I'm trapped. I feel bad cause he's leaving and we fight every day. I wanna go talk to someone but I don't wanna be pressured into taking medicine.  Does anyone have any advice for PPD without taking antidepressants? TIA.

Support is also key.  Can you have a family member over to help? Can you talk out your feeling with friends? Look up Earth Mama Angel Baby products, one called Happy Mama Spray. Check local health food stores, they might carry Rescue Remedy which also can help.

if those things don't help, please don't feel shame by getting help with traditional drugs. Baby needs you to take care of you too :)

If you schedule to see someone let them know first thing you don't want to take anything. If your breastfeeding then you can't take anything. Good luck.
