Please don't stop. There's no reason it's unsafe at all. And there's never been any proof of it inducing labor. Keep breastfeeding and giving that baby those nutrients!

I've never heard a docters say it's unsafe. I've always heard it's just fine just make sure you're consuming plenty of calries, your body is working hard.

Hi there.  Actually, my doctor and many feel that it is not harmful to nurse in pregnancy.  check out the le leche website too for information.  It is not harmful for baby.  Sometimes milk decreases around month 5 in pregnancy when nursing.  And you can have sore nipples from pregnancy and nursing will make that a bit more prominent.  They actually say nursing can help you get some rest during pregnancy because you have to slow down/sit down or lay down (however you nurse).  So, there is really no reason to stop if you enjoy doing it.  good luck

I know it's hard, but the reason doctors recommend not nursing while pregnant is because lactating your daughter can induse early labor
