Should I be Worried?

I was off my birth control and not sexually active for about two months after being on it for about five years straight.  I had just got back on it for a month and became sexually active during the second week of being on it   I also, on a whim picked up some St. John's Wort and took it for only a day before learning that it can make birth control ineffective.  So my question is: Is there a chance that I could be pregnant?  Lately I have woke up twice in the middle of the night and gotten really naseous to the point of having to lay on the floor when I got up to go to the restroom.  Also, the sight, taste or thought of alcohol makes me sick to my stomach.  Whereas I previously have never had a problem with it.  I am a week away from my next period and was curious if I have anything to worry about.

Read your instructions, I was on St Johns Wart a long time ago and I think it causes stomach upset in some people.
Also read your birth control box because when you start taking it I think you are protected right from the start. Depending on which one it is, it should release a hormone which prevents ovulation and egg release by tricking your body into thinking it is actually pregnant. You are NOT protected if you are 12 hours or more late with one or more pills so you have to use contraception for 7 days. Taking a double dose does not help this, you have to take one pill each day it says at roughly the same time every day for it to be effective.
I think you will probably get your period as normal.....
