Maybe your baby has change the position and you can`t feel him like before. If you don`t feel him at all consult your doctor.

I've been going thru this the last couple of days too.  I've been sick and been on meds and I'm really hoping it's just making the baby sleepy or something...not harming him/her.  Sometimes, for reassurance, I will lay on my back (it's easier for ME to feel movements laying on my back...it's not that way for everyone) and take my hands and gently push or poke at the baby in different spots.  If that doesn't get a rise out of him/her I've gone so far as to take an electric razor or anything with a loud buzzing/vibration and stick it to my belly to scare baby into moving.  Dont' worry, it doesn't hurt em, doctors do it during Non-stress tests.

I have to agree with joyrenee... You might be to early to feel a constant movement, but you should have felt the baby in the last few days.  I would call the doctors as soon as you can, I get worried if I go just a few hours, and my baby has been very active sense 12 weeks.  Try to lay on your side and drink lots of ICE cold water, always works for me.. And wait quietly, or talk to the baby, when daddy gets home and the baby hears him, I get flips and rolls, and all kinds of activity..  If you dont feel anything soon, dont delay you will only stress yourself out along with the baby.. Doctors are use to anything you can ask them, so dont feel weird, this is your baby... And if something happens, we always blame ourselves.. So good luck and I will keep you in my thoughts..

23 weeks is still early to not always feel baby consistently. But it's not a bad idea to count movements. The belly button ring doesn't matter. But you do need to keep it clean and heal that infection. Clean it out in the shower. Then put triple antiobiotic ointment on it and cover with a bandaid. You need to do that every day. You may want to change the bandaid once or twice a day and try not to bump it or rub it.

Now to count movements: you need to eat something (like half a sandwich) and drink a tall glass of ICE water. Lay down on your side and place your hand on your tummy. Try to push your fingers down into your belly (this will not hurt baby). Count movements. There needs to be more than 10 movements in one hour. ANY movement counts as one (kick, push, roll). Chances are you'll feel so much movement you can't count.

If you do not feel more than 10 movements in an hour, you need to call the ER and possibly go to the ER.

I certainly don't mean to answer for Linzola1, but she may not be on anymore.

A kick count sheet is basically when you record/write down everytime your baby moves/kicks.

As sam said, while it is normal for babies to have more active days than others, they should still move daily; even if to only change positions.

I would def call your doc and let him/her know.  You should feel the baby move at least once every 24 hours.  I've read that if you don't feel the baby in a 24 hour period, you should call your doctor.  So, if it's been a few days, I would def call your doc!!
