Need help I am very confused, responses please.

Ok so since last time I was on here I took another pregnancy test on Friday the 13th day my period was due the same faint positive line appeared.  So I figured I was pregnant. Sunday evening I started bleeding not alot not like a normal period the blood was dark brown and slimmy it was spotty some pink some brown not enough to fill a pad at all today it has stopped.  My normal periods are heavy heavy the first two days like soak a tampon every hour or so and it tapers off the third day but always lasts 7 full days.  So my question is am I having an early miscarriage what can this be?  I thought that I was miscarring but now that the bleeding has stopped I don't know what is going on.  Can someone please help me if you have any ideas I would love to hear them.  Thanks for helping I am very concerned.

yes definitely. if you have miscarried you need to have a scan to make sure your body's got everything out and to ensure you don't need a d and c.

I took a test this morning and it was negative now. So I must have lost it right? I have not called doc yet because it was so early on do you think I should still get checked out?

I bled in early pregnancy - turned out to be nothing - and I am 36 weeks now. You can bleed from implantation, or if you are on progesterone, or in my case I had a subchorionic hemorrhage that corrected itself.

I'd take another preg test though - and get your blood counts done at DRs.

A lot of women have bleeding in early pregnancy. Definitely call your doctor. They will do some bloodwork to see where your levels are. An HCG level over 10 means pregnant. Progesterone needs to be above 20 or you should ask for supplements.

I had spotting at 4.5 weeks due to low progesterone. Some pregnancies spotting is normal some its not you just need to see the dr and make sure everything is ok.

I had bleeding in my pregnancy and went to the hospital cause I thought that i was misscarrying but I ended up with placenta previa at 8 weeks.  It was good that they found it this early so that I would take care of the situation now.  In 1 month I was fine and my son is now 11 years old.

I would call the doctor and get an appointment for a blood test to make sure that you are pregnant.  Also explain what is going on.
