I totally understand what you mean when you  say you can't talk to your nd about how you feel. Every time I try to talk to my hubby about how overwhelmed or upset I feel he just blamed it on hormones. Sunday night I got really upset and he said 'calm your hormones' and I FREAKED out. I started  yelling at him saying that just because I'm pregnant doesn't mean I don't get to have feeling and that it's not always hormones  most of the time I am genuinely upset about something. And he brushed me off. I'm still mad at him for it. Guys just don't understand and even when they say they do, they usually don't. Try confiding in a friend, or even starting a blog to get it all out.

YouTube "Guy on a buffalo episodes 1,2,4,&4" or the full version. You will laugh until your butt hurts!
But I seriously have experienced depression my husband cheated on me before I got preggo with #2 and while I was preggo he had text affairs with other women and it was the most degrading humiliating thing ever. It made me feel ugly and fat and inadequate. So naturally this pregnancy all those feelings are looming around. Keep your head up it's a work in progress but the suggestion above by Kate is a good one!

and you're not fat... you're pregnant.  All men look at other women (and all women look at other men if they find them good looking) but if you trust him not to cheat on you then there is nothing to worry about. My fiance is going to a 2 day bachelor party coming up and i'm not worried at all and i know for sure they are going to go to a strip club. You just have to be able to trust until there is a reason not to.  Now if he has given you a reason not to then that's a whole other story.

I have a history of depression and anxiety, and  I know how hard it is to deal with. It takes over your whole life if you let it. Just find yourself something to keep busy with to keep your mind occupied. Look at funny you tube videos to make you laugh when you are feeling down. Don't be afraid to ask for help. My city has an amazing program called healthy babies healthy living, and when I registered at my hospital they referred me there because of my history and I have my own nurse I can call anytime during the week. I'm actually having a home visit with her today. She's going to come over and check on me and we're going to talk about how life is going and what to expect in the next few months, and the best part is that because its a city run program, I don't even have to pay. It's nice to have some outside ears to talk to so that they can be impartial and tell you when you are going overboard with your emotions.
