HCG Level 1008 Normal?

Hi Everybody

I had a dnc on june 30th and wednesday will be 6 weeks post the d & c and still no AF( i had a previous d&c in feb and it only took exactly 4 wks for af)   i have had 2 postive pregnancy tests so I had blood taken on friday to test my hcg levels and got the results today and they are at 1008  they are not sure if this is a new pregnancy and will probably have to have more blood taken  but the doctor wasnt in today.
Has this happened to any one before
any feedback would be great
thanks

Sounds like you're PG. Are they going to do an Ultrasound?

As long as they are doubling its fine :) LOL, I would say its a new one because you also had a D&C... Mine literally fell down the loo. And my HCG went down straight away... So I think its a new one.

Hey, sorry for your loss.
I had an mc in april became PG in the same week as my MC, at around 8 weeks pg (With new one when I found out) my HCG was 13786, whereas the DAY AFTER My Mc my hcg was 80, AND I had a neg pregnancy test the week after my MC, because it was too early to pick up my new one, that day my HCG was also 5, way to low to go up...

so its a new pg. :)

Congrats

Most likely is a new pregnancy. 1008 is a good number but it isn't really the number that matters but rather that it is doubling every 48-72 hours. Congrats on your pregnancy!
