Slight cramping?

If you've ever had a urinary tract infection, you'll know what I'm talking about.

I woke up this morning with that feeling you usually get right at the start of a urinary tract infection. Of course, that feeling would put anyone in a bad mood. You're uncomfortable, annoyed, etc. Well, my stomach started bothering me (different than morning sickness) so I tried eating something. I ate something light - a waffle and some hash browns. I don't really feel any better.

Ok so within the last hour, I have developed a low-grade fever (100.2) and I'm starting to get mild period like cramps. Everyone in my house has been sick except me. Do you think I have anything to really worry about, or am I just getting sick?? My OB's office is closed today, so I would have to go to the ER if I wanted to be checked. What other signs and symptoms should I look out for before heading to the hospital, if any??

Do you think I'm just over reacting? I really don't feel good - I don't feel like myself at all and my temp is ALWAYS between 96.7& 97.9. What can I do without taking medication to get rid of this fever?

Btw I'm 12w3d today.

If your temp is rising, I would go just to make sure..... You are almost in your 13th week and the first 12 weeks are always crucial.. the further along you go the chance of miscarriage decreases..... If your temp is rising, I would go just to make sure. They will probaby do an ultrasound just to make sure..... Keep us posted on what's going on!

If there was spotting and cramping, they will probably do an ultrasound. I've had 3 fevers this pregnancy, and I'm 29 weeks along.....your body will respond different than normal when you're pregnant....if you want fast results, take 2 extra strength tylenol (perfectly safe for baby) and lay down to try to sweat this out.....you have nothing to worry about if you have no cramping or spotting, and I would say not to waste your time going in if you can kill this yourself, especially if they're not going to do an ultrasound anyways. A fever has nothing to do with the baby

Yes, this is my first. I'm starting to really worry because my fever is still going up. Do you think I should go, just to be safe? What will they do? Will they do an ultrasound to check on the baby?

You might just be catching what everyone else had, and I would say that if you don't feel better in a day or two, then see your doctor. The best way to probably kill your fever would be to take a hot bath, wrap up in super warm clothes and big blanket and try to sweat it out. Drink juice and try not to eat anything too solid, as it probably won't make you feel any better. Good luck

Is this your first baby ? If you are 12 weeks, I would say wait.. Take some regular tylenol and see if your temp goes away.... If you get really bad cramps or start to bleed, then you are starting to miscarry..... I wouldn't worry about it.. You could just be getting what everyone else in your house has..... But it's affecting you differently because you are pregnant.

No spotting, no bleeding. My temps have been between 96.7 & 97.9 since I conceived. Had a u/s on the 20th that showed a healthy baby & heartbeat.
