Oh, and congrats! Hoping to get my BFP today, too.... :)
With my last pregnancy, I didn't know I was pregnant right away because I missed my "missed" period. I had tested negative at 8, 9, and 10 dpo, and then gave up when (I thought) AF came. Turns out it was implantation bleeding (I guess?) and lasted for 5 days but was lighter than usual, for sure. Tested again about a week after it ended, because it just seemed so unusually light, and sure enough, BFP.
I did the test this saturday morning and it was positive. I'm already at my 3rd week of being late so i'm running on my 7th week of pregnancy. I don't feel hardly anything but a little bit of soreness in the breast.... other then that the light headness but all is OK... I called my OB and they will see me in a couple of weeks... we'll see then how this journey goes... thanks for the replies!!
The water shouldn't affect it. It is just best not to drink within a couple of hours of the test.
Good luck!
I'm not sure about the cravings. I never had any myself. As for the water, it shouldn't affect the results, but this also depends on how long you sleep for and if you get up. You need to hold your urine for at least 4 hours with little to drink.
Ok - that's good to know... The last two i did were pink in color the other one that said negative was blue... I'll find out when i get home which one my mother bought me...
It says that i shouldn't drink so much at night so that my urine isn't diluted - I like to have a cold glass of water before I go to sleep - will this effect it?
How soon can cravings start... ? I'll keep you posted...
You don't have to bleed. In fact it's highly uncommon for ANY women to get implantation bleeding, and if they do it's like a spot of blood and nothing else. Symptoms also mean nothing. What you feel in one you might not feel in another. Some women never get symptoms. I would encourage you to retest, but use a different test. Make sure it's pink dye (blue dye tests are good for false positives and evap lines) and use it with first morning urine.
