Due date is today / Labor question

I literally never thought I would get to this day! Well at least my first due date is today( June 8th)! No signs of labor, not dilated at all and cervix is still thick and high! Scheduled for an induction on the 17th if she doesn't come on her on! Anything I can do to get things started? Please help! Also can I have gum during labor? I'm anemic and won't be allowed ice!

Okay thanks going to try these things. No,my doctor isn't giving me ice because during labor I will be given iron through an iv infusion.

They won't give you ice? I'm highly anemic and they gave me ice.

Sex helps alot to soften your cervix , and for dilation try squats and walking . Goodluck :)

Try sex. Semen helps to soften the cervix and cause it to open. Lie down after sex and let the semen to remain in there. You can also try nipple stimulation.

Try to do some squats or maybe lunges while u walk thats what my bf made me do lol

Well congratulations it's almost time :) yes u can have gum and try walking alot and sex
