Is it in bad form for me to read while my legs are in the air??

Okay so I have a question.  When we are done trying to make a baby and my legs are in the air for 30 mins do you think it is in bad form to pick up a book and read???? lmao!! I layed there for 30 mins last night while legs where in the air and pondered this question.  (((My hubby fell asleep because it was late last night and he had to work this morning.))) And even if he were up IDK I would most likely be self concious about it. ( i am a tad shy sometimes, and there is just something about trying to talk to my hubby with my "who ha" in the air that is kind of weriod, lmao) I was wondering if anyone else had this issue and what you do to pass the time.......

I am just trying to do everything I can to have a baby.  Hubby and I are really ready to do this and it seems like every month gets a little harder. Plus we think I may have mc'ed this last cycle. I was 6 days late and I started spotting and then it got heavy and I passed some clots and bleed on and off again for about a week, so IDK.  I am leaving it up to God to decide if he thinks I should have a child. I am just going to do EVERYTHING I can to have a baby.   Anyways thanks guys for your imput.

I, too, have heard that putting your legs up in the air has no effect on the sperm. They naturally swim up the cervix. They don't have to fight gravity in your body. But I don't think it would hurt to do it, either! So reading shouldn't be a problem.

See that is what my husband usually does is fall asleep.  Me I am to relaxed and like to just lay there and enjoy it, lol.  I think I am going to get one of those hand held game deal's.  My hubby is laughing at me for asking this question.  Boy ttc can be exhausting.  But so worth it if it happens.  My hubby has been hounding me for the last 6 months to get pregnant.  I sometimes think he has the bigger case of "baby fever".
My cycle was really messed up this month so I am just hopeing that we didnt miss it this month.  But if we did we are going and getting some of those OPK's and some preseed.  I want to pregger's in winter.  My poor brother in law, when my sister was pregnant with my nephew in the middle of the summer, had a cold all summer long. I think she kept her A.C. on 50 the whole time.  lol.
oppps this turned into a really really long post, lmao.

do whatever it takes to make you comfortable. That's how you need to be...watch tv, read ...do a crossword...whatever your fancy is :)

No expert but don't see how it would have any real adverse effect on the sperm swimming whether you were reading or not.

OK- sorry, I just did some more research on the subject and there is some evidence that this is the case although I couldn't find any numbers.

As to your original question, I say do whatever you want to do to pass the time - read, watch tv, chat w/ your hubby etc.  Also, you can always cover yourself w/ a blanket if you feel self-conscious about hubby seeing you "propped up" in all your glory!

In every book I have read it says afterwards to put a pillow or 2 under your butt and legs in the air will help the flow expecially if you have a tilted uteras.

FYI:  lying with your legs "up" will NOT increase your chances of conception......
