38 weeks, contractions and diarrhea all day???

I've been having contractions all day, they were 5 minutes apart all day, I walked a little bit and now they're two to three minutes apart. Weird thing though is I've had diarrhea all day?! Why?? I've been nauseous all day too!

I'm staying hydrated. Since they are so close together I'm taking it a little easier today, my honey and MIL are home so I don't have to chase my babies around too much, but I have my shower today and as much as I'd love to skip.it in general (wasn't excited about having one to begin with but my MIL has never got to do anything like this for my middle son her oldest grandbaby I just let her do it) and have a baby instead she's already gone all out on so I figured I'd wait a little bit lol

Diarrhea is a sign of dehydration too so make sure to drink lots of water! That can also give you contractions...especially in the end. Rest as much as possible and keep counting those contractions! Good luck to you!

I was able to dose off a bit. I got comfy and just ***** out. Woke up still having contractions and having pressure and everything. I'm going to see if I can make it a couple more hours the contractions don't seem as close but then again I also sometimes miss the contraction if its not a strong one so Idk.

I always feel like that when I go into labour. And being your 3rd (?) baby you could have dilated really quickly after you saw the dr, especially if they checked your cervix as that's similar to a stretch & sweep.

I would go to the hospital...That's how I felt I had lots of pressure when I went to the hospital I was 7-8 cm dilated.

Thank you guys and I forgot to.mention, I went to the Dr today where he checked my cervix and I'm 50% effaced and only 1/2 centimeter dilated. I had a different post up earlier I had said that in but anyway I did get checked. Also just now, I have been feeling A LOT of pressure down there and it hurts so bad!!!!

That's exactly how I felt the day I gave birth!!
;)
If you feel you can't handle the contractions go to the hospital!
It's only a matter of hours before you have your baby probably ;D
Good luck & god bless you and your little one(:

I had the runs alll day yesterday too and got admitted at 5am for preterm labor/UTI. Its weird how our bodies do that. Luckily the injections i got stopped most of it...now i just have random contractions and "irritable" uterus...i guess my body was clearing itself out too!!

My sister started having diarrhea because she was dilated to a 6! You may want to go and get checked especially if you are contracting 2-3 minutes apart

Oh btw she was also 38 weeks

I did that a day or two before I went into labor, its your body clearing itself out before birth!
