Right side..

Is it ok for you to sleep on your right side? I'm 36 wks and 2 days and i find that is the only way i can sleep...by sleeping on my right side do you think that i am harming the baby because your suppose to sleep on your left.
Does anyone know?

I know it's best to sleep on the left side because it increases blood flow like LosingMyMindInGA stated. When I am laying on the couch or just reading i try to stay on my left side. But when it's time to sleep, the only way I can actually go to sleep is by sleeping on my right side. You won't harm the baby. If that is the most comfortable position for you, it's fine! =)

I'm glad this was posted because I was wondering about this the other day and I coudn't remember what the "recommended" sleeping position was....it's been a while since I was big fat preggers...lol.....(i'm not sure if i'm pg now or not but when you're ttc again you tend to think back on things like this)

They say you SHOULD sleep on your left side becuase it increases the blood flow to the baby and yourself.  Personally though I have slept in all different positions...right side, left side, on my back ...pretty much everything but on my tummy...through all my pregnancies.  I'm currently 16 weeks and if all goes well this will be full term #5.  If your right side is how you are most comfortable (as it is for me) I say go for it...
