HCG levels and multiples
Within twelve days my hcg levels shot up 55 to 14,000.
Wasn't even 5 weeks from LMP.

I'M ALREADY SHOWING NOW AT SIX WEEKS.
I checked for possible pregnancy 4 days ago using the home pregnancy kit; it showed positive.So, today i did the blood test(hcg)and it is 9,945. I am exactly 5 weeks today from the last menstrual period(LMP). What does this mean?. My doctor thinks i may have an ectopic pregnancy or multiple babies. I am excited on one hand and anxious on the other. How many babies could i be carrying with this high level? Let me know what any one thinks this could mean.Thanks. Anntoinette.
There is a website that allows you to input your dates of hcg and the levels. The website is betabase.info I found this very useful. You can also google hcg calculators and it'll tell how often your numbers are multiplying. I'm going to 5 weeks tomorrow and my levels yesterday were at the 8500's. When were your first and last levels taken?
