Your HCG level is perfect for how far along you think you are. Fingers crossed everything else is ok!
I just read your other post...maybe i'd wait till friday just because the extra days may mean you can then see all you need to, maybe today just isn't enough time for things to grow more...lots of times they don't see the heartbeat until 7 weeks or later
No, I won't be getting my levels checked again. Ultrasound is on Friday.
will you have your hcg levels checked again before you u/s (is it this week or next?)
Your levels are not high, they are normal. Exactly how far along are you?
No, no fetal pole or heartbeat yet, just an on schedule gest sac and yolk sac. But I've never heard of a blighted ovum with high numbers or a yolk sac
You fall into the 6 week category which sounds fine.
That being said, the American Pregnancy Association cites the following chart as normal ranges of hCG for the number of weeks after the woman’s last menstrual period:
* 3 weeks: 5 - 50 mIU/ml
* 4 weeks: 5 - 426 mIU/ml
* 5 weeks: 18 - 7,340 mIU/ml
* 6 weeks: 1,080 - 56,500 mIU/ml
* 7 - 8 weeks: 7, 650 - 229,000 mIU/ml
* 9 - 12 weeks: 25,700 - 288,000 mIU/ml
* 13 - 16 weeks: 13,300 - 254,000 mIU/ml
* 17 - 24 weeks: 4,060 - 165,400 mIU/ml
* 25 - 40 weeks: 3,640 - 117,000 mIU/ml
* Non-pregnant women: <5.0 mIU/ml
* Postmenopausal women: <9.5 mIU/ml
everyone's levels vary. that seems like a high healthy number but even high numbers do now guarentee anything. Sometimes they say the higer the number the more chance of twins, especially if the numbers go up real fast.
Did you see a fetal pole or heartbeat yet?
