Salt?!

I am 20+2 and I notice if I eat anything with salt I swell up mostly in my hands. My rings feel tight and my fingers feel all pudgy. I drink lots of water but it still takes hours before I feel normal again.  Am I alone in this??

It happens to me as well, my hand get swollen I had to take my ring off at night other wise my circulation will get cut off my morning :/...i think some swelling is normal though.

My doc put me on a low sodium diet. I love salt but nothing is swelling.

Yeah, I swell up sooooo bad, and I also have hypertensia now that I am pregnant. You should really tlk to your doctor if it gets really bad, you experience headaches, dizzyness, or random nausea, as those are signs of hypertension or preeclampsia. Just try to cut the salt intake down, and bring it.up at your next appointment.

Nope this happens to me when im not pregnant. Just avoid salt and if u cook your own food you can season it with stuff called "accent" its found near all the other seasonings. Its a red and white bottle. Anyway.. it is like a supliment for salt. That's what I use. You could also look up Edema. Its a common condition that some people (like me) have. It causes your body to retain water because of salt.
