Scared to shop

Just last year I gave birth to my son at 31 weeks which was the scariest thing I've ever had to deal with. The doctors told me he wouldn't make it through the night but he did thank God he is now 15 months old and a happy health baby for the most part. I and not 27+4 weeks pregnant with my little girl but I'm so scared of losing her or going in to preterm labor that I can't even bring my self to shop for her :( my husband tell me I'm crazy but he wasn't the one sitting in the hospital everyday for 6 weeks with our little boy.

Thanks everyone I'm going to try to start shopping soon and just pray everything goes ok

You are so right.. my husband works and money is very tight lately due to that he started shopping early.. You can never what will happen next.. my dh made my maternity bag first coz he is also worried that what if something goes wrong... As long she is moving and she has will to fight even if its premature atleast it will survive :).. and than she ll be needing things.. so just stay positive n leave it on God thats what i am doing

I know ever pregnancy is different and as of right now my doctor sees no reason for me to worry but they didn't with my son either. I've tried to by things for her but I always put them back. But ur right if I don't start I won't have anything when she does come.  It's just so scary not knowing if everything will be ok this time around.

I am like that as well i m so scared of buying anything... My cousin gave birth at 28wks... I had miscarriage b4 and my sil had miscarriage at 18wks.. Evn though i m 28wks n my husband bought few things... When i see them i get worried.. Coz my sister in law bought so many things n when she had miscarriage everything started to hurt her...for yr she couldnt get herself aroind due to all things she bought for her lil boy... But things are started to look good..n it seems nice to have things in the house...

How you feel is normal. But like above said every pregnancy is different. Plus you going shopping won't make something bad happen Hon. I'm sorry what you went through. Try and stay positive x

I understand ur worry. U have to remember your son made it. How hard would it be to go thru it again and when baby finally got to come home you had nothing for her. Do the docs think U'll do it again?

Just remember every pregnancy is different. Maybe only by the necessities now and after she is born then go crazy
