Scary night

Yesterday was a busy day soo I only had toast in the morning an didnt eat or drink that much water until 8 hr later. After I finally had same food an I realized my bby girl didnt move the whole day. I shaked my tommy I drunk water I put quran on an put It on my stomach. I even shined a light on my belly. I even layed on my belly on my back bt nothing made her move. I was so scared I read online that you shouldnt worry unless you havent felt the baby for 48hr. I couldnt stop crying an all hubby could say was for me not to worry an that its all in gods hands he was right bt I couldnt help it. I was imaging the worse. I just sit up in bed until 4.30am an she finally moved. Bt her kick felt soo weak. Bt thank god. Sorry for the long essy..lool.. what I really need to know is do you think at 27weeks the fact that my placenta is in front of the baby affect how much I feel her move. Sometimes her kicks are strong an sametimes they are weak. Anyone else???

have you got Midwife appointment at 28weeks? tell her that you are unable to feel baby that much.. I am sure she should send you to hospital to get u monitored.. I spoke to her at my 26weeks appointment and she said wait till 28weeks after that you should be able to feel him.. i have appointment at 28weeks i will be telling her that i still miss hours.. i m going to see what she says..
But honestly just call maternity and say you have not felt your baby for 24hrs and her movements were very slow and you are not sure.. they will call you in and than they ll do further investigations :)

Oh thats good I am glad to hear that. Becoz I was soo worried. do you think I should get the baby heart monitor which I think I can use after 28weeks. Only think is how would I knw if I am picking up her heartbeat or mine??.

i m nearly 28 weeks.. b4 i use to miss 24hrs from everyweek.. thn he ll come back with vengence and thn again after 2 days of kicking me his movements slow down i wont feel him for hrs n whn i do thy ll be very light... if you r still concerned call your maternity ward as thy will be able give you further help... i hve been there once at 23wks n thy checked he was fine... i still do miss hrs without feeling him.. :)

Yes I did and still do the same thing! The placenta will make her kickes harder to feel!
