I found out I was pregnant last Thursday, and according to the calendar I'm due the 30th of August..... What should I expect during this visit?

I'm due august 25th and I'm not seeing a midwife until Feb 2nd as that's the earliest they had, good luck x

They jus start u on vitamins n u have to go back around 2wks to give u vaginal ultrasound for due date. Also take blood n urine test

If the faint lines make you feel it isn't accurate, test with a digital test. That is what I did. I am due August 31st! My Dr appt is January 19th. And I was told I should get my first sonogram to listen to the heartbeat along with blood work and going over medical history with my doctor. They said be prepared to be there 1-2 hours going over everything!

A lot of bloodwork was done, 6 tubes of blood, my pap, and a faint image on the u/s Dr said it was too soon..... :( but I am counting down until the 16th and then I should hear a hb.

If your test had even a faint line positive, then your pregnant. See what your doc says about when to set up your appointment, every doc is different.

Thanks you guys for the support!!  I went in for a confirmation of pregnancy last Thursday..... My lines on the hpt showed before the 2 minutes they ask u to wait for the results, they showed big and bold.... I will let u know about my visit on tomorrow

I just found out on new years eve and would supposedly be due the same day and should be abput 5 weeks 4 days..im worried because both my tests were faint positives and im scared that i might not be pregnant, although i feel pregnant and have been eating more and my stomach feels crampy me and my husband are so happy but scared at the same time...do u think its too soon to make a visit or are u going in asap? i really want to confirm my pregnancy but im also scared it will be negative. I should probaby just go in and confirm right?? Were your tests faint positives or were the lines dark?

Im due aug 31 and my app is jan 9. This is my second pregnancy and my doc sees you between 6 to 8 weeks. My doc just talks and asks questions.

Im due aug 30 too. My appointment isnt until jan 18, my dr doesnt see you til youre 8-12 weeks. Pls keep me updated!

If they do a sonogram you should see a sac, fetal pole and possibly a heartbeat, though it might be a little early for that. They will ask you all kinds of questions about your medical/family history. They will do height / weight/ blood pressure/ urine test and possible blood test.

You should go in for your appointment.  They are going to talk to you and ask you slot of questions. They probably won't do an ultrasound
