Has anyone else had this?

I'm 8weeks 3 days and Went to the ER last night because of slight spotting. The ultrasound showed Threatened miscarriage due to subchronic hemorrhage in the first trimester. I've been put on pelvic rest (and possibly bed rest) till Monday. But I am wondering has anyone had this and carried out a successful pregnancy?

When I was 10 weeks, I went to the bathroom and found bright red blood in my underwear. I panicked. I called the hospital and was told there was nothing anyone could do if it "wasn't viable." I remember the word "viable" pissing me off. This was my BABY. So I went to the ER. It was the middle of the night and I was so certain I was having a miscarriage. They took blood and did an ultrasound. They couldn't find a reason at all for the bleeding and told me it was a threatened miscarriage, too, though my cervix was closed. I didn't get put on bed rest or any special instructions. In fact, I was kinda brushed off, even by my OBGYN a few days later. "Some women just bleed." I also spotted a little (much less than at 10 weeks) at around 28 weeks too and once again, no reason given. My daughter was born perfectly healthy and will be 2 years old this June.

I kinda out myself on a no-sex sentence because I was so paranoid lol So if I were you, I'd be too scared to go off bedrest for at least another week after they say lol But it worked out for me. It is entirely possible for you to be fine!
