Should i eat more??

I'm 34 weeks and 5days and so far I've gained 28 lbs. Before pregnancy I weigh at 122, so for me being 150lbs isn't much. Just wondering if my weight gain effects my baby birth weight? I want a chubby baby, so should I eat more??

Im 37 weeks, I gained 22 pounds. Last week when I got an ultrasound, my baby was measuring a week early and weighing 7 pounds.
Your weight has nothing to do with baby weight. Sometimes drs make people lose weight, under some circumstances while pregnant.
Jus make sure you eat at LEAST one big meal a day and snack throughout the rest of the day.

Don't worry, you'll probably get your chubby little cutie.  They usually all are a bit chubby :-)

You weight gain really got nothing to do with you baby's birth weight. I know people who gain 60lb and only give birth to a 6lb baby. If your family had big baby then there's a good chance you might too. I'm at 31weejs and only gain 10lb so far, kind of at the bottom of the normal range. My doctor think I'm right on track and everything looks good with the baby. As soon as I eat healthy food then the baby can take whatever he/she need to grow nice and strong, that's all it matter.

It's not weird lol babies self regulate size for a very important reason.  In the time before c-sections, if your baby just grew all crazy with everything you ate, it most likely wouldn't be able to pass through the both canal. That would cause a while lot more maternal/fetal deaths :-(.
So babies self regulate so they can easily more easily fit through your hooha!

That's weird.. but guess I can stop stressing over gaining more weight in return for a chubby baby.

Factorymamma is right.  Lol my first pregnancy I went from 107 pounds to 215 (seriously) and baby was 6 pounds 2 ounces ... I lost 95 pounds and then when I had my second I only gained 15 pounds and he was 8 pounds 2 ounces... so extra weight is all you not baby :)

Thanks for the responses. Last time I checked her weight she was 3lbs 7oz, which was about a.month ago. I just love chubby babies as well, guess I'm a little anxious since she is my first.

You're baby will take only what it needs, so any extra weight you gain is yours to keep.  Nothing will guarantee you a "chubby" baby.
