boy or girl?

Hello. Today I'm 16wks&3days along just heard the heart beat again and its 145bpm wondering if this will be a boy or girl. We find out on the 24th of this month.

lol see there was a woman on here that swore in school she did a study on this and anything above 165 was a boy and below was a girl... i just googled it and first page i went to was above 140 girl, under a boy, the next says above 150 boy, below girl... so it depends where you go...

My daughters was always 150...this one is 166 but time will tell :)

Oops then next HR was 132, next was 144, and yesterday at the dr it was 144 again and I am having a boy :)

Sorry I don't think that is an accurate way to tell.  when my sister was pregnant the heart beat was always between 145 & 155.. and 150 is that magical cut off. She had a girl.  At my appointments it's always been between 145 & 160 and it's a boy.  

2 more weeks and you should be able to find out for sure in an u/s.  Good luck!

Yes I know I have to wait for an ultrasound but I'm so excited and in high hopes for a boy but thanks anyway.

If you google what the heart rate means you will find lots of different rates to go from... and some say girls are higher and then the next one says boys are higher... i cant figure it out lol so im sure youll get lots if different answers on here even...either way its all 50/50 chance lol sorry i didnt help this one confuses me lol
