I need some advice please!!

Ok my DH and i are TTC. i am not sure if i am pregnant right now or not because i have not missed af yet. ill know more thursday!! the only thing that i am experiencing right now is very light and quick cramping on and off. which could be everything stretching being this is my first pregnancy. ok now for some help.... i just went to the dentist today with MAJOR tooth pain and found out i need a root canal. now the dentist gave me some meds for the pain and for the inflamation.  The man a the pharmacy told me that i would have to call my dre about it. but my dr is very bad at returning my calls. now the name of the meds are ERY-TAB 250 MG and IBUPROFEN 400 MG.  I dont know if i should take them or not.  I dont know if i am pregnant or not so i dont want to jepordize it, but i really need to take this med i am in alot of pain and other med is to bring the swelling down. O man i dont know what to do. would it be sfe to take or not? please any advice would help me!!! Thanks

If you are pregnant and in pain tylenol is the way to go. Asprin and Ibuprofen aren't recommended for pregnancy.  Acetomeniphen (tylenol) is the only safe pain reliever when pregnant. If you go to most pregnancy web sites Asprin and IB are on the do not take lists.  My favorite is www.pregnancy.org. Hope this helps.

well ibuprophen wont harm you if you pregnant and if your still not sure you shold ask the pharmacist.....but i believe you can if no try tylenol......good luck
