Small baby?

Question

So I've been measuring two weeks behind for the past 3  weeks or so, she doesn't seem concerned, but does this mean he will smaller? I'm 39 +3 and measuring 36 and last week I was measuring at 35. And I know fluid and stuf can effect it but its been every week so do you guys think he will be smaller?

Thank you ladies, he's perfectly healthy and she hasn't said anything about him being small but I'm pretty small so I guess that could have something to do with it. I guess ill find out within the week when I have him :)

I have the same thing going on, my fundal height measures 27 weeks instead of 30, and am having a growth scan next friday. With my last son he measured small too, but he was completely healthy, and they say sometimes it just depends too on the mother's size, if you're not a very big person, odds are you won't have a huge baby. Both my kids have been small, so i'm not really worried, like i say as long as everything is healthy then i wouldn't be too concerned about it.

I was measuring 5 weeks ahead and had a growth scan. Turns out he is a normal size. The measurements can be out quite a bit, but as long as the measurements are going up then that's a sign that baby is growing well. Remember that the average weight of a newborn is 6-9lbs. That's a massive difference in the two weights! Chances are he will be a good weight. If she isn't concerned then I wouldn't be either as they have a lot of experience.

Fundal height and even growth scans aren't accurate. With my daughter, my fundal height was always three weeks behind. She was 7lbs at birth. My son was measuring small and predicted to weigh 5lbs10oz at 35w6d. My membranes ruptured two days later and he was born weighing 6lbs 12oz and 21" long.

At my 37 week scan i was also measuring 2 weeks behind ,my doc was not concerned at all and i had my daughter in Nov 2012 she was 18 inches long and weighed 6.5 pounds so all was well with the baby.i hope it helps .

If you are concerned request a growth scan my fundal height is measuring right on but my son has completely stopped growing since 28 weeks.  For this and many other reasons I will be getting induced feb. 11th at 37 weeks.
