Has anyone had a period PRIOR to the 4-6 week mark after miscarriage?

...just wondering, because it's been only a little less than 3 weeks since I had a D&C, and I'm bleeding.  The blood is very light (panty liner light)...and I'm not sure if it could be implantation or my first period!  I'll take either one!

Let me know!

Oh they work wonders....and so does temping. I've been trying for 3 months since the MC with no luck, so last month I pulled out all the stops. If nothing else I've learned a lot about my body. AND it made me realize that this month I ovulated late, not until day 18!! I would have missed it entirely if not for the OPK and temping. It's weird you know. The first time I got pregnant it happened right away, but now it's a whole different story. Maybe my bodyjust isn't ready yet!

Anyway, it sounds like it could still just be leftovers from the MC, but it's hard to say. My advice is to assume its AF, and go from there. But definitely get some OPK. If you want to start charting, to help you out go to fertilityfriend.com. It was recommended to me on this forum and I can't thank them enough (momof32b!!)))
Good luck!

Hi thanks for responding.  I forgot to add that I only bled for maybe 3 days at most after the D&C.

Anyways, the blood is red/pinkish - not brown.  I'm having the tiniest of cramps.

I'm just really anxious to try again (like everyone else on here - hee hee).  Maybe I'll buy some of those ovulation predictor kits to help me out?!

I actually had bleeding about 2 weeks after my MC in August. It was very light, actually, just spotting really. Then after my first period following the MC, we started TTC and I spotted the whole time then too. I think it just takes a while for the body to heal completely.
Is it red, or just brownish? If brownish it might just be old leftover blood from the MC.

Good luck!
