19 and thinking of trying

Im 19 have a stable home, income and environment for a baby, me and my partner have been tracking my ovulation dates on a calendar and im a bit on edge, my partner really wants a baby and to start trying, i would love to have a baby but i keep thinking "what if something goes wrong" "what if my baby is sick" ect ect. I know its  normal but should i be thinking more positively? I was never into the teenage party scene and pretty much spent my teenage years babysitting taking care of kids and doing school. Am i still too young to think about trying for a family?

I still have my days when i wish i was kid free just because of the hassles with babysitters and not being able to go out on date nights whenever we want. But we have traded in our date nights for family nights and then just enjoy us time once shes in bed. But its still an amazing feeling and i wouldnt change it for ANYTHING. :) we married when i was 19. Less than a month after finding out we were expecting, but we do everything completely on our own and it works :)

I'm almost the exact same as mrsnelson2010, only I had my first at 18.. I definitely think some alone time with my husband would've been awesome, although I wouldn't change either of my kids for anything, having my 2nd in Jan. and still happily married! :)

go for it! im also 19, been married a little over a year, and almost 31 weeks pregnant. I think as long as your in a stable, HEALTHY relationship with a stable income and you both want it then why wait? :)

Don't worry too much. I'm also 19, engaged, educated and pregnant. We didn't plan on a baby yet, but it happened and were so happy. I think every mother worries especially with the first pregnancy. Whether we are 19 or 27. My mom had issues too but no two people are alike. Good luck! =)
