I had a bad migraine for two days afterwards. Didn't realise at the time that that was more than likely what caused it.
Yeah my injection site is achey too. It's no fun. :(
Not sure what that is but I have to say I agree on the recommendation to not get the epidural. I got one on 18th of September when daughter was born and I've been having back pain ever since, right where they put it in.. so disappointed. NOT worth it for TEMPORARY pain :'(
Ok I did some research and talked to my midwife. I'm posting this so any other recent mommies have the info:
get up and moving as soon as possible to reduce the likelihood and severity
bed rest, narcotic pain killers, and caffeine can help you cope
if symptoms do not lessen/disappear within a week, go back to the hospital for a blood patch
Remember, the symptoms don't usually appear for 3-7 days after the spinal/epidural is administered!
