Possible Miscarriage

My wife is about 5 weeks along and within the last couple hours she has started minor spotting and it has progressed to discharge of blood clotting.  She hasn't had her first doctors visit yet and we don't know what step to take next in this situation.

I would go to the ER to get it confirmed although it does sound like a miscarraige. This early on there is nothing they can really do for her. I'm really sorry about this. This happened to me in Nov. Good luck to you.
