Start of induction at hospital

At 6pm I was finally called to go into the hospital. I'm all settled in the room now waiting for the Dr to show up and do a cervical check.

I'm getting cervidal inserted tonight. They will start the pitocin in the morning.

I'm going to try and do a live post of my induction delivery.

I actually had the opposite happen back in January, from what happened with waitn838:  I was on the Pitocin pump and stuck at 5cms for a few hours.  Once my OB had them turn off the pump so I could labour on my own, I went from 5cms. to 10cms in an hour!!

My first induction was 8 hours of true labour (hard, regular contractions), my second was 12 hours....here's hoping yours goes faster :)

That's good, I think, lol. At least you've gone from 1 to 3 cm before the pitocin...I think you'll have her by midnight your time. That's 12 more hours, so hopefully it doesn't take that long!
