I have a king size bed and have been using my king size pillows. They are synthetic down and very comfy. But today I was at Target and they had body pillows for $10. I grabbed one of those. I think between that and the king pillows I should be good. My husband picks on me about my pillow fortress but it really helps. I know the Target one isn't fancy and won't hold up forever but It really is comfy. I can't wait for bedtime :)
You think you're having trouble sleeping now?? Just wait!! ;-) LOL....(sorry, I couldn't resist).
I never believed in needing a so-called "pregnancy" pillow - I just used a full length body pillow (you can find them at places like Wal Mart) with each of my pregnancies. It seems that if you say anything is specifically for pregnancy, that justifies the manufacturer jacking up the price.
I got the snoogie pillow online. It looks like an extra long pillow but has a hook at the top and bottom so it goes around your shoulders/neck and in between your legs. Shop around online you can find a good deal. I got mine for $50 bucks. Or tell your hubby that pillow will fix the problem and see if he will buy you a present :). If all else fails get a bunch of regular pillows and surround yourself with them.
My cousin didn't want to spend the money on it and then she got one as a gift and said it would have been worth every single penny especially later in pregnancy because it holds the belly making it more comfortable to sleep. They also make a U shaped one to support your back and belly at the same time. Haven't tried that one.
