Id go with eating it all the time, cant be bad and ovulation isnt always exactly 14 days after menstruation.
I was thinking about asking this same question and googling some info. I remember reading somewhere about diffrent foods to eat to try and change the PH balance to sway the sex of the baby. Not sure how exactly. I guess one type can live in more acidic then the other type.
Kiwis are good and contain folic acid, i was told stay away from Pineapple as it thins the cervics other than that i'm not sure
Huh. Good info. Thanks.
Brittny: Im going to post a questions about different theories on conceiving a boy or girl. Dont know if its possible for any to work but hubby wants a boy so Im going to do all the boy conception things and we'll see what I have.
idk say eat healthier. also avoid stressing cause it affects ovulation and your cycle. if I were you I would just act normal and let things happen
HAaha Hard with a mother in law like mine lol Ie had alot of depression and stress but the last 2 weeks I have been happier beyond what I thought was possible. Oh and the stress of AF absent and negative preg tests AND hubby being gone all week long fro 2 months (home on weekends YAY)
In case anyone else is interested... I finally found some info on this. They dont know why this is but it turns out, women who eat these foods while ttc conceive have a greater change of conceiving boys or girls. (depending on what you eat)
To conceive a girl, eat:
breads, sweets, fruit
To conceive a boy, eat: high potassium foods (bananas mmmmm)
spicy foods, red meats
This doesnt mean eat only these things but lots of them. I dont know if I truly believe it but well see. Im eating all the spicy meat I can and lots of potassium.
Well, just FYI I ate all the "to conceive a girl" type foods, and I've got a 16 month old boy.
Its all the roll of the dice. As long as it has everything where it should be and functional, Ill be happy.
